3 Reasons Why Changing Your Diet Can Help Eliminate Pimples On Back

Diet is perhaps one of the most contentious issues in the whole field of acne cures – the big drug companies want us all to continue to believe that the only effective cure is to buy more of their expensive drugs (more Accutane anyone? No thanks!).

GP’s have a vested interest in steering us towards topical medicines which we have to keep applying for ever – they rely on the drug companies and all of the perks they get. They also appeal to the average patient – it is less effort to apply a cream week in and week out than to follow a sensible (but boring) long term strategy to actually cure back acne for good.

But here’s the kicker – the longer we apply medicines, the longer we take antibiotics, the longer we are slaves to the big pharmaceutical companies the longer we have to suffer the discomfort and social stigma of acne and the more chance there is that the bacteria becomes resistant to the medicine we are using.
Many reputable studies now show a clear link between diet and acne (including pimples on back).

Here are 3 ways diet can help your back acne

#1 Food allergies can cause acne

Some acne is caused by food allergies which can also cause inflammation which is highly uncomfortable. For those lucky enough to fall into this category a simple change in diet can mean the difference between painful and unsightly pimples on back or a life free of bacne. It is definitely worth trying a change of diet if for no other reason than you might find it works really quickly for you.

#2 The Right Diet Can Correct Hormonal Imbalance And Help The Body Eliminate Toxins

Recent studies have shown a clear link between diet and hormonal imbalances within the body which can seriously negatively aggravate and acne you may have.

If the body cannot expel toxins efficiently this will also lead to aggravation of your symptons. Changing your diet has been shown in medical studies to help correct this imbalance and help the body to get rid of nasty toxins more quickly – this will help the body to deal with the pimples on back and acne in general with its own defence mechanisms.

#3 Cut down on sugar, get rid of pimples on back

Sugar tastes good, we all know that. What we don’t all know is the havoc it wreaks with our acne. As soon as you ingest sugar your body goes into overdrive to regulate the insulin levels in your body. It does this by hitting the body with a whole series of male hormones (including insulin and the male hormones including the growth factor IGF-1. These are too much for the liver and encourage the body to produce huge quantities of sebem oil – the one major factor which encourages your back acne to flourish.

Cut out the sugar and you are helping your body to avoid this sebum attack.

While I was not one of the ones who’s pimples on back were being caused by food allergies I found a noticeable (and much welcomed) improvement in my back acne when I followed a sensible acne diet which reduced sugar and milk.

Give it a try and see if it can help you too.
